Recipe: Wilbur the Cannibal

Cannibal1Summary: While there was initial hesitation to wrapping bacon around more pork, it had to be done. This recipe combines many of the GrillMaster’s favorite flavors into one hell of an appetizer.


  • 1 lb. Pork Chops
  • 1 lb. bacon
  • 1/4 cup BBQ sauce
  • 2 tbsp crushed jalapenos
  • 2 tbsp Southern Comfort
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 2 tsp smoked jalapeno salt


  1. Cut pork chops into bite-sized cubes
  2. Cut each slice of bacon in half
  3. Put all ingredients into a plastic bag and ensure a good coating on all the pork and bacon. Let sit at least 30 minutes, but overnight would be wicked good.
  4. Wrap the bacon around the pork cubes and secure with a toothpick
  5. Pre-heat grill to 350 and place the deliciousness on the grill
  6. Cook about 10 minutes on each side until bacon is crispy
